Wednesday, October 29, 2008

Engineering and business professors urged the Bush administration to invest in infrastructure in a letter sent on Oct. 24. The letter, addressed to Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke and Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson, called on the government to "endorse the idea of a new New Deal." Ninety infrastructure projects across the country have been shelved because of funding shortfalls.
